Therapy, not coaching, is the gold standard when problems are deep-seated. But millions of people have found coaching a great way to grow and flourish.
Some people want to begin with a self-assessment of key aspects of their lives, and then decide on goals. Others come with specific goals in mind, and want to target their work on one or two specific goals.
What is my coaching process?
Depending on your wishes, we look at your goal(s), barriers that are holding you back, your signature strengths, and finally, new ideas and actions — small steps at a time — that can get you to your goal. Then I provide support and accountability as you move toward your target.
Positive Psychologist Martin Seligman, in his book titled Flourish, sums up a philosophy I share:
“If we want to flourish and if we want to have well-being, we must indeed minimize our misery, but in addition, we must have positive emotion, meaning, accomplishment and positive relationships.”
